EPA Webinar on Managing Lead in Schools on Dec 7

Lead is a toxic metal that is harmful to human health. Since children are particularly vulnerable to lead exposure and they spend a significant portion of their day in schools, testing drinking water in schools and ultimately reducing lead levels is extremely important. The EPA is hosting a webinar, "The 3Ts for Reducing Lead in Drinking Water in Schools" next Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 3 p.m. (EDT), to assist schools in implementing a voluntary lead testing program. This webinar will provide a background on lead in drinking water, go through the 3Ts sampling steps, discuss appropriate remediation measures, and the important aspects of an effective communication strategy. Stephen Curry: You Are What You Drink

What do Warriors guard Stephen Curry and five-year-old fan Eloise have in common? Not much, except they both "drink water more than anything else." As Curry says, "you are what you drink." Brita teamed up with Stephen Curry to spread the word that water is the best choice with a new commercial. Fans voted for the best idea and Brita made it. Check out the winning Splash Studio commercial featuring Eloise.
